Cracks in the concrete are quite natural, but can endanger the static and allow moisture to penetrate into the building. If concrete is impaired in its function and optics, it needs repairing.
We first determine how deeply the damage has progressed and to what extent the stability and function of the component is affected.
Depending on the damage picture, various repair measures are required.
if the concrete surfce shows corrosion damage, we clean it and bring up preventative surface protection
with low flaking and corrosion damage, we first prepare the surface and then repair the surface.
if the concrete surface is severely destroyed and the reinforcement is corroded so strongly that it has to be reinforced, we will repair the entire component. In doing so, we remove the component to a certain depth and then rebuild it.
Our protective coatings keep aggressive influences away from concrete and steel. Our repair mortar is alkaline and similar to the mechanical features of the concrete.
In principle, we take the following steps when it comes to concrete repair:
exposing the damage sites to a depth where the concrete is viable
removing rust of exposed reinforcement rods with water and abrasive material and cleaning of repair surfaces
reinforcement multi-layer with corrosion protection paint
raising a bridge between old concrete and repair mortar:
mending the damage site with repair mortar
alignment of the surface with the original component
crack bridging and coloring by multi-layered paint
