Leak closure for double-walled containers

The outer steel wall of double-walled containers is particularly susceptible to corrosion in the dome shaft area: especially if there is constant water in the shaft and mixes with drip quantities of the bearing product in shafts with direct filling. If the outer wall leaks, it must be sealed immediately. Double-walled containers must also be designed in such a way that liquids cannot enter the soil or groundwater and/or surface waters.

For the leakage closure of the cylinder we have developed a special repair technology with carbon (carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic).

As a specialist in coating technology and company according to WHG, we recommend a surface preparation with dry ice blasting. Thus the surfaces are better wettable and the layer to be applied adheres reliably.
