Refurbishment of the remote filling shaft

Remote filling shafts are practical, but also very prone to corrosion. Because they are always made of metal, a material to which the aggressive gasoline vapours are extremely damaging: They cause pitting!.

However, the same sealing requirements apply to remote filling shafts as to manholes: they must be designed in such a way, that no liquids can enter the ground or groundwater and/or surface waters.

For the refurbishment of remote filling shafts we have developed a special repair technology, with which we can process and reprofile all areas affected by corrosion – including those, that are affected by a narrow workspace and difficult to access. As a specialist in coating technology and company according to WHG, we recommend a surface preparation with dry ice blasting and the use of coating systems approved under construction law.
