Sprinkler systems are automatic spray water extinguishing systems and the most reliable fire protection systems in buildings. The most important components of such a system are a pressurized pipeline network that passes through the parts of the building to be protected, a separate, secured water supply with appropriate compressed air water tanks and the sprinklers. The compressed air water tanks and the associated parts of the system are part of the pressure systems subject to monitoring and must be checked by experts on a recurring basis in accordance with the information provided by the Commission. Porous and aging coatings as well as pipelines, that can clog in an emergency, endanger fire protection.
If the tank interior coating is objected to, KH comes into play, because the appropriate coating system must be carefully selected and applied. The high operating pressure in the container as well as the sprinkler water are pure stress for the coating. In order to prevent the coating from being "infiltrated", it must be applied without pores. To ensure this, we recommend performing an ISO test before the tank is flooded again with sprinkler water.
